Bougainvillea Flowers

Bougainvillea Flowers
Don’t let it fool you.  Those vibrantly colored “flowers” adorning the tips of Bougainvillea branches are actually modified leaves or bracts.  Look more closely…the true Bougainvillea flower will be revealed in the midst of those colorful bracts.
Surrounded by three or six bracts, the tiny, white, trumpet-shaped flowers triangularly arranged in groups of three stand out from the pink, magenta, purple, red, orange, white or yellow bract colors.  Two of these three flowers usually open at the same time, with the third opening later.

Large or small Bougainvillea Flowers can add a delicate touch to your home or office decor.
Available framed, unframed, museum back or canvas gallery wrap.
