Babe & Arlene Sarver
Babe & Arlene Sarver founded Babe’s Photos in 1997 as a full-service Photography Studio providing Family, Executive, and Pet Portraiture, Sport Team Photography, Commercial Photography, Heirloom Image Preservation, and Wall Art Photography.
Babe’s training is in fine arts, mathematics, and engineering, having studied at Iowa Wesleyan, General Motors Institute and graduating with a BFA in photography and ceramics from Arizona State University. After years as a full-time potter, then a telecommunications Sales Engineer, Babe pursued his artistic calling as a photographer. Babe’s background allows him to bring his technical and artistic skills to Babe’s Photos providing unique solutions to meet customer needs. He has the eye of an artist combined with the mind of an engineer.
Arlene’s training and experience is in systems and organization. With a degree in the Social Sciences her career spanned several years involving direct social service provision, strategic planning, and management. As Producer, Arlene is responsible for all aspects of photo shoot planning and production including concept development, cost estimates, timeline, product logistics, shoot management, product fulfillment, and accounts receivable. Arlene brings her heart into Babe’s Photos, allowing her to make customers comfortable and secure even if they are intimidated by the photographic process. Her organizational skills make even the most complex photo shoot come off without a hitch.
In 2014, Babe’s Photos stopped offering Sport Team Photography to focus on Portraiture, Commercial, Heirloom Image Preservation, and Wall Art Imagery. Babe’s Photos also expanded Commercial Photography Services by adding Macro, 360 Spin Photography, and Animated GIF Images.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, Babe’s Photos discontinued Family, Executive, and Pet Portraiture and now offers Commercial Photography, Heirloom Image Preservation Services, and Wall Art Imagery.
We offer thanks to the many customers that have joined us on this journey and look forward to working together on new projects now and in the future.
Thanks,
Babe & Arlene
